About the Pineider Back to the Future
A journey into the past, the Pinedier Back to the Future fountain pen searches for its origins. The pen features an ultramodern design with undying beauty.
Back to the Future is more than a pen, it is a journey to rediscover ancient knowledge while at the same time the history of Pineider, started in 1774 and reborn along with the rest of Italy in 1949.
The inspiration is the quill, an ancient writing instrument. Back to the Future's original release (with silver trim) is a limited edition pen with 949 fountain pens made with a single world numbering system. However, the 2022 release of the Pineider Back to the Future fountain pen with black trim is limited to 88 pieces with the limited edition number on the bottom of the barrel. The cap and barrel are made from carboiridium lending it a moiré effect when exposed to direct sunlight. The clip, a variant of the goose feather quill, has technical sophistication.
While inspired by centuries-old writing, the pen has been made with the latest technology and processes. For example, the accuracy of the magnetic cap/barrel as well as the smooth functioning piston filling system. Fitted with a 14-carat solid gold nib, the primary aim is to bring pleasure when writing.
